Junction17 is a structured web directory that organizes online destinations into 22 named subject beats. Each entry in the gazette is filed by domain, category, and a brief description drawn from the site itself. The directory currently holds 838 approved entries, distributed across sections ranging from Health & Medical Desk to General Gazette.
The directory is organized on a simple principle: sites should be findable by subject, not just by search. Each section — or beat, in the language of the gazette — functions as a navigable field record of the web in that territory. Browsing a beat gives a working overview of who is active in that sector online.
Junction17 does not rank sites by traffic, authority, or editorial preference. Entries are filed in the section that best fits their subject matter and are listed in the order they were added to the record. The gazette maintains a neutral editorial position across all beats.
Any legitimate web property can submit for inclusion. The submission form is on the Add a Site page. Select the beat that best matches your site's subject, complete the entry form, and file your submission. Each submission is reviewed for basic operational status and category fit before being published to the gazette.
The directory is free to browse and free to submit to. Junction17 is maintained as a public reference tool — an independent atlas of the commercial and informational web, organized for browsing rather than ranking.
